Hello, Friends—

This short missive is a departure from my regularly-scheduled weekly posts, but I’m excited to share what’s building over here. Yesterday’s post—On Claiming Your Witchy Scientist (or molecular biologist-artist, tree-talking psychologist, or energy worker-pediatrician)—generated interesting conversation around how we—as edge-walking, tree-talking, witchy women—go about navigating disciplinary and personal divides and how we do the work of inner integration to become all of us, all at once. How we fully bring our unique gifts to this world.

I’ve been fighting boxes my entire life—being told I needed to be a scientist or a policy person (since trying to combine the two would leave me in the cracks—the scientists would label me a policy person, the policy people, a scientist); having people marvel: How are you a scientist and an artist?; leaving skiers with their mouth agape upon learning I have a Ph.D.

Well, guess what? We’re all fascinatingly complex, multi-dimensional, amazing beings. Trying to stuff ourselves into boxes is simply not working.

I’m building The Coven as a place for you to examine what’s limiting your ability to show up as all of it, all at once. To excavate what it might take for you to stand up and declare to the world that you’re a molecular biologist and an artist, a psychologist who talks to trees, or a pediatrician and an energy worker. And, of course, in true unTamed Science fashion, these discussions will be anchored to ecosystem principles.

The Coven will be a six-week container, with limited membership, starting in September. If this is something that interests you, please comment below or send me a DM and I’ll put you on the list. I’ll be in touch with you personally with more details as I finalize them.
